We had the good fortune of connecting with Naquitah Herbert and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Naquitah, how does your business help the community?
At LYVDN Design, we help the world heal through creative self expression. We believe that healing begins at home. We understand that people thrive within a loving, supportive, peaceful, and harmoniously functional environment. We create beautiful and unique spaces that reflect who you are. We are blessed to see the value and transformative properties of everything. Our design style engages the world to love, embrace truth, LYV with gratitude, and boldly express joyful light. We are blessed to help make the world a better place.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
LYVDN Design is blessed to serve our LYVtribe of clients, supporters, and loved ones all across the globe. We design and curate our spaces from a place of love, joy, abundance, alignment and gratitude. Many are drawn to the uniqueness of our approach to interior design. Our clients undergo a metamorphosis of the mind, body and home. This sets us apart from others. People return (with referrals!) to receive God’s healing, blessings and favor. This means that as our clients and supporters grow and change, they continue to seek our expertise. Our design team leans on our unique characteristics, creative gifts, and God-given vision to create beautiful and unique spaces that reflect who you are.

LYVDN Design is black woman-owned and operated. Thus, as a beautiful black woman, fearfully and wonderfully made by God, I love to empower women and celebrate the genius, creativity, boldness and authenticity of black people. Our work features black businesses, artists, artisans, creators, designers, etc.

What makes me most excited about my work is that it allows me the space to be purpose driven, bold, authentic, vibrant and obedient to God in the best way! However, in the same breath following your path is not always easy. I have fallen and taken many detours before finally arriving where I am today. However, I have learned to TRUST 👏🏿 IN 👏🏿 GOD 👏🏿 NO 👏🏿 MATTER 👏🏿 WHAT! It is to God I owe all the glory. I am here today because of God. Periodt! Our ability to serve our community doing work we love is a blessing from God that we use to uplift ourselves, loved ones, clients, and supporters worldwide.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
