We had the good fortune of connecting with Naomi Garcia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Naomi, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued an creative career because it’s what I’m most passionate about and it gives me the freedom to express my outlook on how I see things!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have always been a lover of ART I knew at a young age I was driven l towards being creative person. I worked as an Art Director for about 15 years and when the magazine went under I started painting full time along with helping run my husbands HVAC business. Some lessons I’ve learned along the way is to take my time and not rush with anything I create. I want the world to know I love creating so much I would create even if I wasn’t getting paid for it and I also love giving the gift of ART :).

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my best friend to some amazing eats, I’m a lover of Thai food and anything spicy. We would probably visit the High Museum and look into anything local that might be going on in my city. Art festivals being #1 on the list. We would also walk the belt line and grab something sweet to eat.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shoutout my sister Farzana for always believing in my ART and motivating me!
