Meet Najoni Montgomery

We had the good fortune of connecting with Najoni Montgomery and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Najoni, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I started my business, i wanted it to not only be something impactful but i also wanted it to be something that i would be proud to pass down to my kids. Fitness became my passion because of my kids. They push me every single day to become the best version of myself and for that i owe them everything. When i first got pregnant with my son i knew right away that i wanted his life to be different from mine growing up. And having my daughter just made that drive even stronger. I want my kids to know they can accomplish anything they put their mind to, that no goal is too small if you put in the work. They see how hard i work every single day to provide a good life for them. A life I never got to have as a kid, and even though the long nights and early mornings may be hard sometimes. They remind me everyday why i do it and i keep pushing no matter what life may throw at me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I got to where i am today by continuing to lean on my Faith in God everyday and not on my own understandings, it definitely has been a very far from easy journey and im certainly not done yet. We have barely scratched the surface. I know that God is constantly putting me through trials and tribulations to shine light on the areas he knew i needed to improve each and everyday and by actively improving myself i become closer and closer to the person I aspire to be everyday for my children. The most important thing I want people to learn from my journey is to never allow your circumstances to define you. You can do anything you put your mind to. If you give your goals 100%, they’ll give you back 200%

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely be going on a hike, probably Stone Mountain because that is my current favorite hiking spot because there is so many different trails, then we would probably grab lunch at my favorite restaurant in Atlanta, Rumi’s they have the BEST food. We would obviously spend a lot of time at the gym. I have a local gym but when i’m bringing someone with me i honestly prefer to take them to the location thats in Atlanta because the view is a lot more scenic which adds more value to the experience in my opinion. We would definitely go to Lenox mall which has always been a favorite of min, they have so many different options of places to shop and im definitely more of an in person shopping type of girl. Of course no visit would be complete without going to my favorite smoothie place, tropical joes and showing them my favorite smoothie!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Firstly, I would like to thank God for the amazing opportunities he provides me with everyday, he gave me the strength to get to where i am today. would like to dedicate my story to my kids, Carter and Saige and also to my amazing support system. My mom and sisters, we may not have all gotten along growing up but they are my village now and i cant thank them enough.
