What should our readers know about your business?
Nadia Lindsey Francois is a serial entrepreneur with a heart for people. A hairstylist by trade, Nadia holds current licenses in Cosmetology and Barbering and a B.S. in Business Administration. The Baton Rouge native began her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 19 and has used her experiences and knowledge to help other business owners start and grow their ventures. Nadia continues to thrive and expand in her beauty endeavors, Heiress Haircare Systems and Heiress Beauty Lounge Online Beauty Supply Boutique which she describes as her passion. Because “people may not always remember what you said but they will always remember how you made them feel.”
In February 2013, Nadia decided to pursue her dream of giving back to the community and established a platform that provides tools for enhancing knowledge, life, and personal development skills. Hence Sistars of Empowerment, Inc, a nonprofit that focuses on empowering, educating, and inspiring women and the youth in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas, was born. As the founder and Executive Director of SOE, she has developed a series of programs and workshops that contribute to personal and entrepreneurial growth. Under her leadership, SOE grew from what started as a group of friends who wanted to give countless acts of community service, into a thriving sisterhood that incorporates motivational and business workshops, youth confidence and esteem pageants, and mentorship. SOE has even received a proclamation from the city for its Women Empowerment Week which takes place during Women’s History Month. The organization continues to give back to the community annually with its youth scholarship program for high school graduates.
The beautypreneur and non-profit founder became a first-time author in August of 2018, publishing The Entrepreneur Activity Workbook as her first project, which is very close to her heart. She created this workbook to help entrepreneurs have a clear business plan and understanding of their business goals. After participating in two additional book projects, Nadia attained the esteemed recognition of International Best Selling Author for Better Woman Better World Book One.
Her next writing project would include her own faith-based compilation, What’s Your Super Power anthology. This woman of faith along with an amazing group of female authors have compiled their compelling and captivating stories of strength and resilience while overcoming life’s obstacles. This anthology is guaranteed to motivate its readers to push through to their purpose and to ensure that Nadia self published the What’s your Super Power Reflection Journal as a work along to help women discover their God given super power.
In December 2020, this trailblazer stepped out on faith and became the channel owner of What’s Your Super Power TV (WYSP), which also houses her talk-show by the same title on Exposure TV Network, Nadia and her guest hostesses interview powerhouse women and spotlight minority business owners. The WYSP TV Channel also houses five additional empowering series that span from cooking, spiritual wellness, talk shows and wealth creation.
In 2021, Nadia continues to enhance her digital footprint with the addition of Power Conversations Podcast and Power Conversations Magazine which are additional extensions of her media empire that caters to entrepreneurs and their advancement. July 26, 2021 Nadia along with 22 phenomenal female authors became #1 Best Selling Authors with their contributions to Nadia’s latest publishing project, Powerful Affirmations for Fempreneurs: The success tool for kingdom entrepreneurs.
This goal-getter contributes her success to grace and mercy. Her number one assignment is being the mother and sole provider for her four sons, the driving force behind her persistent hustle and diligent pursuit of greatness. She uses her life experiences and the outreach of other mentors and professionals to empower our women, children and entrepreneurs to become successful, confident, self-sufficient members of society.
