We had the good fortune of connecting with N X I C O N and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi N X I, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I chose both an artistic and a creative career because both gave me an avenue to express myself. Counsel myself and basically become therapeutic in dealing with feelings and thoughts that I was having trouble dealing with. They became outlets for my mental, emotional and psychol growth and changes that I was going through.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the CEO of KUUNTAAR MUSIC, LLC. A multi-faceted company that produces music and soon film (MEDIANTIX Films and Photo). Encompasses a Foreclosure/Eviction Cleaning Service (TBC CLEANING SERVICE) as well as most recently a Notary Public service here in the Atlanta area. I also instruct in public speaking as well as artist management and development and occasional artist booking.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
It’s hard to say nowadays with the arrival of COVID and all. But I would definitely take them to the Georgia Aquarium for starters. Then the African-American museum, a couple little clubs during the evening or a comedy show. Then partake in different cuisines so they can get the full gist of the Atlanta life and air.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mom, Ms. Penelope Walker, my sisters, Dr. Wendolyn Davis and Ayana Allen.
