Meet Mvrco Tha Goat | Upcoming Atl New Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mvrco Tha Goat and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mvrco, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I wouldn’t say I chosen my path, more like it found me. Growing up I have always been around music and had a ear for it. My dukes(mom) had her own studio, for when my uncles can record they lil demos and tapes. An later on down the line my cousin’s & brothers picked up their talents, so I guess you can say it’s in our blood. But truthfully it took me sometime to really find my sound and to take my music serious.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others I would say is my work ethic. I’m not the average outgoing spotlight seeking artist, I can careless about fame. All I want is to take care of my family and team and provide folks with music that doesn’t only sounds good, but can help you when your at your low and high points of life. Something I’m most proud of in my career is my growth as an independent artist. I’m always the unpredictable one in a crowd you never know if I’ll sing or rap but I’m extremely proud of the way I handled the opportunities I had, before COVID-19 started canceling outside. Like being able to do a dj drop for one of the most popular Atlanta radio stations and opening up for artist like Bun B. However with me being an independent artist your not always taking serious, so you’ll have to be really dedicated to your craft. Because sometimes there may not be no one there on days you want to quit and give up you gots to push yourself to want more. But the world haven’t really seen/heard anything yet I have more music to come bigger & better projects in the works and a whole lot of great vibes. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Probably take them to a underground showcase depending on where it’s located, so they can get the chance to learn and support more of they peers who are grinding and progressing. Another place I would go outside of music will be a food place let them try some different spots out in the city. I really don’t don’t have any specific places but those are the two main ideas on the list that we will most definitely stop by.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Big salute to my management team for standing behind me, and pushing me to become a better artist everyday. An shoutout to Ma dukes for booking my first studio session and letting me speak my mind.
