We had the good fortune of connecting with Muhammed Khraim and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Muhammed, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started working for a mechanic when I was 19 for only $8 and hour. I quickly realized that if I wanted to achieve my personal and financial goals I set for myself, I would have to start my own business. So, I bought.a lawnmower for $50 from a garage sale and started my own company.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the owner of Caspian Horticulture Group a landscaping and carpentry business. I started landscaping 16 years ago with nothing more than a lawnmower, a broken weed wacker, and a broom. I am proud of how much I have been able to grow both in the equipment I have, my knowledge of landscaping and horticulture in general, and my skills in sales and knowing my worth.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the beautiful Atlanta Botanical Garden. Then we would go to East Atlanta Village for some great food.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to shoutout Grant Wallace owner of Grantlanta. He has helped me tremendously to grow my customer base.
