We had the good fortune of connecting with More Of Maya and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi More of, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
How I think about risk is genuinely take that leap of faith and go for it. You never know what’s on the other side. Sometimes it can be for greater good or it can either tear you down. Me taking a risk one time led me to Hollywood, California for a brand trip with SHEIN. Me taking a lot of risks has elevated my lifestyle in a beneficial way.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is me. I am a work of art. What sets me apart from others is that I am genuine and authentic with my craft. Everything you see I do comes from passion into what I love doing. I am proud of my growth mentally, physically, physically, and spiritually. Ive grown since my first YouTube video to now. I’m most excited about my upcoming projects I have in the works because I know I’m only going to elevate as time progresses. I’ve gotten to where I am today from believing in myself, taking that risk, and chasing my dreams. Everything I’ve done from the past to present has been on my own. Im not born into a wealthy family and coming from a small town there is no room for error only elevation. Professionally, and being honest its not easy. You have to make sacrifices also decide is this what you really want to pursue? we’re not all overnight sensations you have to work to where you want to be. Especially in my shoes being a full time college student, having a job, and then pursuing content creation, It is possible though, have a schedule, stay consistent, and take breaks when needed. The lessons I’ve learned along the way are to be mindful who you make content with, Everyone is not trustworthy, and your brand is your image so protect it. What I want the world to know is that there will be more creation, more adventures, more celebrities, more emotions, more laughter, more fun…More of Maya.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A week long trip, I’d eat drink, visit, hang out, etc. In your view what are some of the most fun, interesting, exciting people, places or things to check out?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God first and foremost is my first shoutout.Appreciative of my family (Grandma,Mom,Sister & Brother) for the love, support, and being my backbone whenever times were hard and I felt discouraged about it all. My friends for encouraging me to push forward and never give up on my dreams and turning them into reality. Thank you to my man for protecting me, giving me encouraging words every day, believing in me and making sure that I can do anything I set my mind to. Lastly, SHOUTOUT TO MY SUPPORTERS! without you all there would be no More of Maya. Thank you all for believing in me. I want us to continue building and growing to become an astonishing empire.
