We had the good fortune of connecting with Montravious White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Montravious, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Man I’ve took some many risks dealing with the business. From dropping out of college to move to a completely new city to cutting off friends and family who don’t see the same vision you see. After i graduated college I packed my car up and moved over a thousand miles away from home. I mean when my folks found out I was moving I was already halfway thru Kansas. No I wasn’t running from or after anything, but I was running to a new opportunity.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others the fact I shoot and edit everything. Sometimes i have help on set but most of the time I’m a one man crew and I still have the ability to bring my clients vision to life. My work ethic is unmatched and I’ll out work anyone! That’s been my secret to my success in my opinion. Being a creative is most definitely not easy at all. You have to constantly think on your toes and be able to handle criticism A LOT! Most of the time it’s from people you don’t even know but you just have to take the punches and keep it moving ! Being in the business has taught me a lot about myself. Being able to see that look of excitement on my clients keeps me going ! The world just needs to know my name and the rest will fall thru .

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
You can always catch me at the spots with the best hot wings like JR Crickets on north ave or American Deli on cascade by the Kroger. Krog street market had some good international food too I’ve been going there trying something new everytime

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Big shoutout to Big God first and foremost!! Also my mom, friends, and family ! No one specifically because everyone plays a part !
