We had the good fortune of connecting with Monte Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Monte, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I have much to say but I didn’t really have a thought process. God has always guided me regarding the things that I do.

I believe a while back in a previous interview I mentioned that God gave me an entire layout for my life. He only gave me parts of it, but over time he revealed things to me piece by piece.

I never really had any clear direction before growing closer to God. I was always ambitious and talented, but I never really knew which way to go.

But he gave me clear direction and always made it easy for me to follow his guidance. From school, to work, to jobs, to my businesses, God has always been the one to point me in the right direction.

Sometimes I just had to take a leap of faith even if it didn’t make sense or wasn’t always successful. I did it anyway.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As of right now I’m doing a lot of independent contacting work. Mostly in the cleaning and caregiving business. I’ve been doing it for a while now, and have gained a substantial amount of income from doing it. I believe what sets me apart is my compassion, resilience, and independence.

I’ve always pretty much been on my own. I mean I’ve had support here and there but for the most part I’ve always had to find a way to survive and build because nothing was ever given to me. Still today I struggle with trying to find the right environment for growth.

As of this moment I am on my own. I decided to leave my family behind, and also my child’s father. At this moment my daughter is with her father because he’s in a better situation than I am. Although, my circumstances are a result of the things others have done to harm me, I am still suffering from it.

But today, I just want to let everyone know that this hasn’t been easy for me. You know life isn’t always what it seems. I’d be lying if I got on this interview and said everything is great. It’s not. Following your dreams requires sacrifice, and change. I’m trying to build generational wealth for my daughter.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I were to take a friend to an exciting place I would bring them rock climbing or something lol. Like Kennesaw mountains. I love nature and seeing beautiful scenery’s. I believe seeing the world outside is a wonderful thing.

Exploring and trying new things. New foods, I love to eat.

Other than that I don’t really know. I actually need friends to show me new things.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I don’t get much love or encouragement from anyone. Or even family. So today I would like to give a shout-out to my daughter Kyomi, and Jesus, because they are the only two people who truly love me !
