We had the good fortune of connecting with Monique Younger and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Monique, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought behind starting my own business (salon suite ) was to create an luxury high end. environment for ladies to have a safe haven to be there-self , not be embarrassed about there hair.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My name is moe im currently a hairstylist in salon suite located in Dallas Texas, I would say what sets me apart from others is my customer service I pride myself on giving my client excellent customer service understanding there wants and need and their desires . I also pride my self on offering the best shampooing experience and taking care of their natural hair. In addition becoming a business owner wasn’t easy I currently still work my 9 to 5 and Im still building my business which is extremely hard working in the medical field and the beauty industry.. a few lessons I learned on the way of building my business is never give up even if all the odds are against you keep fighting , keep trying , keep promoting your self , keep learning . I would love the would the world to know that My brand My Business , I pride my self on customer service , and growing and understanding my clients and there hair and creating a safe place for my clients to be able to express themselves .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spot in the city would have to be OLD LADY GANG . The fried chicken is the best
