We had the good fortune of connecting with Misty Malec and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Misty, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
After many years of working for various companies, Feeling overworked and underappreciated, I decided it was time to start my own business.
After consulting with a couple of people that are close to me and whom I trust, They gave me their blessings and I moved forward.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
After many years of working as a radio personality on a couple different radio stations, I decided to start my own and dedicate it to helping independent artists get heard. It was fairly easy for me to start as I had a long background in radio, So I took the knowledge that I learned from other stations and brought it to my own.
Some of the main lessons that I have learned along my way, is that not everyone is going to see your vision, the same way as you. Don’t allow that to discourage you or ever stop you from following your dreams.
I want the world to know that I am very hard-working, Passionate and Genuine with what I do.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was coming to visit, I would take her to Stone Mountain & A couple local parks for some fun & Exercise as we are on our fitness journey.
We would definitely plan a night at Bar Vegan, a day or two downtown to visit some of their local attractions such as the aquarium, Piedmont Park & more.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank and shout out my business partners Bigga Rankin & Shah Cypha. Also my family for always believing in me and having my back.
Thank you to anyone else who has ever supported me and my business.
