Meet Miranda Williams: Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Miranda Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Miranda, what’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with?
It’s not conventional but I’ve noticed people have been trying to make it that way. That everyone needs to start a business. Not everyone has the mindset or the patience to create and successfully run a business. There’s so many time I have gotten frustrated over the littlest things when it came to my business. So if you don’t have the mindset of this is what I want then you’ll just be wasting resources. Don’t let no one force you into a business.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My brand is about making you feel amazing. So currently we are going thru the process of a relaunch. We are changing things to stand out more. With the pandemic lately things have been a challenge but all I can say is my mindset has completely changed towards business. What I mean by that is I had to find different solutions to major issues. For instance, the change in shipping times due to the pandemic. I had to advise my Honeyiacs that things are moving slow because of the pandemic. So trying to finding solutions to some of the challenges of the pandemic had me like ugh.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My besties and I love to shop, eat and go skating. So I’ll definitely try to incorporate that in our trip.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost God and them ancestors because they keep pathways clear. Then I would say my son and mom for starters they have put up with my late hours, moodiness (lol) the canceled family time for me to focus on my business. I’ve gotten better with balance between family and work. My sister LaTonya, next because she operates my website, listens to my business ideas. My girl Keshanna is also a key player because she listens to feedback, gives ideas and yells at me if I don’t get sleep because I’m working hard. I want to shout out Team Magickal because when I’m not around they are supporting the brand. I’m talking about Mia B, Beth, Precious, Ke definitely be supporting. Lastly I want to say my Honeyiacs because without them constantly shopping with me, doing random promos, referring my business, etc my brand wouldn’t be were it is. They support all of the many ways I decide to expand my brand.
