We had the good fortune of connecting with Milton Cannon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Milton, what matters most to you?
Respect is very important to me as a value in life. The component of both interpersonal relationships and personal identity. Feeling respected could also be considered as general human advice. It is a significant segment of both individual character and relational connections. Feeling respected could be viewed as a fundamental common liberty. Without it, relational connections will be loaded up with struggle and disappointment. If we don’t have regard for others, they will not respect us, and if we don’t respect ourselves, we won’t be regarded by others either. Showing and practicing respect for yourself and other people allows you to have better connections as well. Whether it be your professional relations or personal, a respectable behavior allows you to connect and understand other people much better. When they feel respected and understood, they respect you in return which results in a good relationship.

What should our readers know about your business?
MD Eventz Is a small business that prides itself on organization, operations, customer service and bringing your events to life. My hands-on method of event status tracking is what separates me from others. Each of my clients feel like they are my only client. This thoroughness helps me design events that are unique and perfectly fitted for each client. I pride myself on my organizational skills, time management and work ethic. I have never been afraid of long hours or of a client that doesn’t know exactly what they want. It is my mission to bring the vision to life. I stresses the fact I can make anything you want happen, within your budget.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For me its hands down the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site because it is actually a preserved multi-block complex that preserves part of the community in which young Martin grew to be the extraordinary man he became. To those of us who are too young to remember the man, know Dr. King as a legend. This wonderful effort by the National Park Service gives us a way of understanding this near mythical character as a real flesh and blood person within the context of his community. The Ebenezer Baptist Church is a contemplative setting where you can sit and hear the powerful sermons and speeches of Dr. King in a peaceful setting. The museums and gift shops are extrodinarily well done and really help one understand his signifance in social causes in his community, his nation, and his world. Some exhibit space is also given to Ghandi, Rosa Parks, and other contemparies who he influenced and who influenced him. His grave and Mrs. King’s grave are in a reflecting pool. Viewing them gave me a surprising feeling of grief, despair, and hope.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would have to say a person that has helped me would be a friend of mine Darius Moore. Darius always pushed me to take MD Eventz to the next level by creating vision and also making it possible for me to enroll in school by understanding that a hobby can turn into a great career by educating myself.
