We had the good fortune of connecting with Mii G and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mii, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I feel you’ll never reach your highest potential if you fear taking risk. I see risk as having that mustard seed of faith in the unseen trusting and believing it shall come to life. Doing nails was definitely a risk I had never did nails in my life and I taught myself so I was definitely stepping out into the unknown.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m a self taught/ Licensed nail salon owner, Who started almost three years ago from what seemed to me one of the worst time in my life. I had lost my baby, a 16 year old son charged with murder, and I myself facing fifteen years in prison for drugs, that had caused me to lose my career of 16 years in the medical field. With barely no options I decided to take my last $300 and invest in nail supplies. Having only faith of the unseen is how I got to where I’m at today in my business. This was very challenging because I had barely any support from loved ones and no money. The only way I could overcome my challenges was to believe in my self work hard, stay consistent, and keep the faith that things will get greater, in which it did. I begin to get support from strangers that carried me through and kept me from giving up. The lessons I’ve learned along my journey is there will be good days and bad days there will be people that don’t believe in you, but there will be twice as many that does, also most importantly to always stay true to self, remain humble, and treat others with respect. What sets me apart from the rest is my hunger to be great, my creativity, my personality, as well as the quality of work I produce. I want the world to know that my salon offers a experience you’ll never forget and desire more of, it’s not just a nail visit, clients are catered to from the beginning to the end of the service. I specialize in acrylic nails, nail art, nail forms, unisex manicures and more. July 2020 two new services will be added and those services are pedicures and airport pick up to nail appointments.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
