We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Spellman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michelle, what are you inspired by?
In my music production experience has been fueled by the depths of human experience, the raw power of emotion, the intricate nuances of feelings and thoughts, and the vibrant spectrum of colors, weaving them together into captivating soundscapes

What should our readers know about your business?
Pathway Productions is an artist development company and content creator based in Atlanta, Georgia.

In a relatively short time, I’ve noticed the pervasive influence of technology in American society, shaping our daily lives. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve transitioned into becoming a Cypress security professional while pursuing a master’s degree in cybersecurity. This new journey has sparked a passion for understanding cyber threats.

Now, I’m embarking on a fresh challenge: merging my expertise in cybersecurity with music and film production through digital distribution. My vision is to establish a company that not only assists businesses in securing their content online and on various devices but also delves into content creation.

Our brand, Half, will focus on content creation, leveraging technology to enhance production quality in studios.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

First, I’d start by inviting my best friend to Edgewood for a Friday night out. We’d enjoy dinner at BQE restaurant followed by entertainment at Red Light Cafe. The next morning, a leisurely walk in Piedmont Park would be perfect. For lunch, we’d head to Slutty Vegan. And to cap off the weekend, we’d explore the nightlife scene at Ponce City market.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Starting with gratitude, I must say, the men in the music business in Atlanta have truly been there for me. Bram Bessoff and Vincent Gates, thank you for your invaluable guidance in navigating this fiercely competitive industry. Your support has been instrumental in my journey

Big shoutout to Sean “Joblo” Johnson, a music business consultant and former manager of Outkast, as well as tour manager of Goody Mob. He’s not only an exceptional professional but also an amazing human being. Throughout my music journey, he’s been my solid support, ensuring I grasp the intricacies of the music business and dive into the world of film production in Atlanta. His guidance is instrumental as I set my sights on scaling my company beyond 2025. Thanks, Joblo
