We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Soto and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michelle, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
As a new a new mom it was important for me to plan ahead even before my child was born. I had a financial plan that I started as soon as my son was born. I wanted to make sure that his legacy and the family legacy involved assets and financial success. I opened my son a bank account and automatically input money monthly. This will allow my son to have a savings account before he can even save.

I am also an avid wealth enthusiast so I have learned how to build wealth for my family with tools that are available to everyone. There are tactical and strategic ways a family can start to build wealth for their family. Instead of buying new toys each holiday budget your “toy” money to include savings. For instance, you have a $200 present budget, gift a toy or toys that = $100 and input the other $100 in your Childs saving account.

As parents we are the ones who set up and expose our children to many things that we can control. You can take your child to McDonald’s but also talk to them about the brand, the food and if that company is “public” (does it have a stock).

Everything I do today will I impact my child in his future. The world is tough and I do not want money ever to be an issue for my son.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is all about educating people about how to start a business and build wealth. I provide data-driven strategies and financial “hacks” that help you own your financial success and develop a road map to start a successful business. My coaching is underpinned by my moral belief that information should be shared and not stored. Each client I have has a unique need and I adjust my coaching to their needs and goals.

I do not hold back on information and often spend hours talking to my clients. My clients become family because wealth, business and the world is ever-changing and it is important to understand how world news affects our finances. I teach people what to pay attention to and to question articles from unreliable sources. I teach you how to understand where the truth lies in finances and how to direct a “famous” person’s financial advice.

I learned that money and wealth can be intimidating. Many people fear the reality of how. much money they have or how much money they make. I make sure that my clients really take a deep look into their finances. If you cannot face the dollar, you will not make a dollar.

The challenges I have faced is people comparing my strategy to strategies from the financial guru’s and people not understanding that some advice is for the masses and does not provide specific tactical information everyday people can implement for long term wealth. To overcome this challenge I had to realize people will always compare and those who trust in me will become a client.

Today I am building my brand to be more automated and human-centered and launching a new website that emcompasses wealth building, real estate investing and a brokerage firm. My goal is for my business to be the one stop shop for financial planning, wealth building and real estate investing.

My grandmother was an immigrant from Dominican Republic and my mom had me in her teens. I have no choice but to succeed. My why is my legacy and my family. I want to bring people along to enjoy life and not be stressed about finances. I have no excuse not to learn and bring success to generations after me. I was not always a risk taker. I went to college and got two degrees. Once I took that leap into investing, my eyes opened and I realized there is so much to learn & teach.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love Dubai! It is a beautiful city with religion at its core but innovation at the front lines. I would take them to the mall, the mall in Dubai is beautiful and has every activity you can think of. Then I would take them to Juremiah Beach area where they have an amazing Indian Restuarant! After if they want some adventure we can enjoy indoor skydiving.

We also have to travel business class on Emirates Airlines. World Class experience for a 13-14 hour flight!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this shout out to my husband who is always routing for me and supporting our family! Anytime I learn something or have a new idea he is there to support me. Thank you Hubby for being you & loving our family like you do! Besos
