Meet Michelle Pascal

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Michelle Pascal again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Michelle , thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
Thank you so much for having me back—I’m thrilled to reconnect and share how the past few years have been!
For those who might not have read my prior interview, my name is Michelle A. Pascal, a seasoned PR and Event Management professional and the owner of M.A.P. Unlimited Inc.
My company specializes in public relations and event production, helping brands and individuals amplify their voices and bring their visions to life.
What sets me apart is my dual expertise in public relations and event production—I’m just as comfortable crafting compelling media pitches as I am managing live event’s intricacies. My ability to merge these two disciplines helps me deliver seamless, impactful experiences for my clients.
Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
Since our last conversation, my journey has been transformative, filled with growth, changes, and new beginnings.
I formed a meaningful partnership with my colleague and friend, Nicole Newsum (NdotN Public Relations + Events) during the pandemic. Instead of competing, we decided to collaborate and combine our expertise. Together, we’ve worked on some of the top legacy ethnic haircare brands, which has been both a rewarding and inspiring experience. This partnership has allowed us to make a greater impact while navigating the unique challenges of the beauty industry.
A major milestone was my decision to move from New York to Atlanta, in the summer of 2024. Atlanta’s vibrant energy, thriving creative and entrepreneurial communities, and cultural richness have inspired me to think bigger and approach my work with fresh perspectives.
I’ve continued to work with incredible clients, many of whom are in the beauty space—particularly haircare and skincare. Beauty, especially in Black and ethnic spaces, has always been my first love. Over time, I’ve expanded my roster to include fashion and lifestyle clients, which has opened new opportunities for creativity and storytelling.
In recent years, I’ve also had the opportunity to work and support larger event production projects, such as TED, Money 20//20, Shoptalk, and Groceryshop, pushing me to grow as both a leader and collaborator. Balancing these opportunities with a major relocation was a challenge, but it gave me a new perspective on adaptability and resilience.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to explore even more creative ventures, including relaunching my podcast, PR Girl Rant! This platform will allow me to share stories from behind the scenes of PR and event production and celebrate the brilliant minds I’ve encountered along the way.
Atlanta feels like the perfect place to write this next chapter, and I’m grateful for the chance to share my evolving journey with you.

What are you most excited about in the coming year?
I’m most excited about growth and new opportunities in 2025! Moving to Atlanta has opened up a fresh chapter for me, and I’m looking forward to expanding my network, taking on more high-impact PR and event production projects, and deepening my presence in the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle industries.
Beyond work, I’m also embracing more personal goals. Travel is high on my list. I want to explore new places, experience different cultures, and take time to recharge and find inspiration. I recently took a transformative vacation to Bora Bora, which gave me clarity and renewed energy to approach my business with fresh ideas. That trip felt like a love letter to myself, reminding me of the importance of balance and vision as I move into this next phase.
Another exciting goal is writing a book—something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. It will be fiction but will weave in elements of PR, inspired by my experiences in the industry. I’m still fleshing out the details, but I’m excited about bringing this creative project to life.
I’m also challenging myself to be more visible—whether through social media or my podcast. I want to share more insights ,inspire others who are navigating similar paths or interested in the industry
Overall, 2025 is about elevating everything I’ve built—more impact, more innovation, and more meaningful connections.
I’m excited to see how it all unfolds!
