Hi Michelle, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The driving force behind my success has been my unwavering “why”—a burning desire to help others achieve generational wealth and home security through land and home ownership. My journey has been anything but easy; I’ve faced adversity that many would consider insurmountable, from homelessness to significant financial losses. Yet, each challenge I encountered only strengthened my resolve, making me hungrier and more determined to succeed.
What kept me going, even during my darkest moments, was my faith and commitment to serving others. I asked God not just for personal success but for the ability to make a meaningful impact—helping families who never imagined homeownership was possible to not only buy homes but hold and maintain them without financial stress.
While selling luxury properties is exciting, nothing compares to the fulfillment of handing the keys to a family who thought they’d never have a home of their own. That joy, that purpose, is my “why.” It’s what fuels me every day and keeps me moving forward when the path gets hard.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My journey into real estate began during one of the most challenging times in my life. After being laid off from a company I dedicated 14 years to, I found myself at a crossroads, uncertain of my next step. At the time, I was working corporate security for a financial company when a frequent investor client noticed something in me. He pointed out my strong analytical skills, concierge-level customer service, and ability to anticipate the needs of others. He told me, “You’d be amazing in sales, especially in real estate.”
I didn’t act immediately, but then another colleague walked in with a real estate exam book and told me I should pursue it as well. That moment felt like divine confirmation—it was my sign. I decided to leap into the world of real estate, and it’s been the most transformative decision of my life.
What Sets Me Apart
What truly sets me apart in this industry is my focus on creating lasting impact. My mission goes beyond selling properties; I am dedicated to helping individuals and families build generational wealth through homeownership. I provide a highly personalized experience, combining deep market knowledge with empathy and understanding, to ensure my clients feel empowered and supported throughout the process.
Challenges and Lessons Learned
The journey has been far from easy. Transitioning into a new industry came with challenges—learning the ropes, building a network, and facing self-doubt. But every obstacle was a lesson in resilience and faith. I learned to trust God’s timing, invest in my education, and value persistence over perfection. Most importantly, I’ve realized that success is as much about serving others as it is about personal achievement.
What I’m Most Proud Of
I’m most proud of the lives I’ve been able to impact, particularly first-time homeowners who never thought their dreams were possible. Helping families secure a foundation for their future is a reward that far outweighs any accolade.
What I Want the World to Know
I want the world to know that my brand is rooted in integrity, service, and the belief that everyone deserves access to homeownership without fear of financial burden. My story is one of faith, resilience, and the power of listening to the signs along the way. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I could plan the ultimate trip for my mom, my daughter, and me—my best friends—it would be a luxurious, unforgettable week in Italy. Here’s how I’d envision it:
Day 1-2: Rome
Arrival: We’d fly first class into Rome, settle into a stunning boutique hotel, and start exploring.
Highlights: Visit the Colosseum, Vatican City, and the Sistine Chapel. We’d wander through Piazza Navona and toss coins into the Trevi Fountain.
Dining: Dinner at a renowned spot like Roscioli, enjoying fresh pasta and Italian wine.
Relaxation: Wrap up the day at a high-end spa, indulging in a Roman-style thermal bath.
Day 3-4: Florence
Travel: Take a scenic train ride to Florence.
Highlights: Marvel at the Duomo, explore the Uffizi Gallery, and walk across the Ponte Vecchio. Shopping for leather goods and handmade jewelry would be a must.
Dining: Enjoy authentic Florentine steak at Trattoria Mario and gelato from Gelateria dei Neri.
Wellness: Book a spa day at a Tuscan countryside retreat—massages, facials, and views of the rolling hills.
Day 5-6: Venice
Travel: Head to Venice by train or car, arriving just in time for a gondola ride through the canals.
Highlights: Explore St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, and Rialto Market. Wander the charming streets and take in the city’s unique magic.
Dining: Dine on fresh seafood at Osteria alle Testiere and sip cocktails overlooking the Grand Canal.
Shopping & Wellness: Splurge on Murano glass and handmade Venetian masks, followed by a relaxing spa treatment at one of Venice’s luxurious hotels.
Day 7: Relax and Reflect
Location: Spend the final day in a quieter, scenic location like Lake Garda or back in a Tuscan villa.
Activities: Reflect on the trip over a slow brunch, maybe take a yoga or meditation class, and savor our last Italian meal before heading back.
This trip would be about bonding, making memories, and embracing all the culture, luxury, and wellness Italy has to offer. It’s not just a vacation—it’s an experience of a lifetime shared with the people I love most.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I want to dedicate my shoutout to my mom and my children, Queen Ashanti and King David. They are my ultimate inspirations, constantly giving me unconditional love, encouragement, and the motivation to keep pushing forward no matter the challenges.
I also draw immense inspiration from strong women who are making extraordinary strides in real estate, like Quiana Watson, Bria Early, and Selena Campbell. These trailblazers have shown me what’s possible when you combine passion, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence.
Finally, I have to recognize the book It’s About Damn Time by Arlan Hamilton. Her story resonates deeply with mine, as she too overcame incredible adversity to reach success. This book shifted my mindset, pushing me into overdrive to prioritize my time, know my worth, and continuously educate myself on my craft.
Each of these influences—my family, the incredible women in real estate, and Arlan’s powerful story—has played a significant role in shaping the person and professional I am today. I am forever grateful for their impact on my journey.
