We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Lamb and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michelle, what principle do you value most?
I value loyalty the most, Because it is unwavering amount of support and dedication through good times and bad times. Someone I can count on no matter what.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I got to where I am today. By not giving up. I know everyone says that. But its real, if you give up you will never know what could’ve been. Yes everyone gets discouraged but that’s the time to grind and redefine yourself. I don’t have a lot of supporters and honestly that’s what pushes me not to stop. I refuse to give them the satisfaction. What sets me apart from others is that I genuinely want everyone to win. I’m not just saying it. I really believe we can because there is enough amount of work for everyone. I refer people to other projects all the time, it is not always reciprocate but I still do it. The Lessons I have learned along the way were you get out what you put into anything, and that talent gets you in the room but its your character that keeps you there. I want the world to know about me and my brand is that I’m more to me than what meets the eye. I don’t ever want to limit myself because the possibilities are endless. My brand is star quality and profound. My brand and my story is one in the same imperfect, profound, and limitless.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m kind of a home body If I am not on set. I’m usually watching tv reading scripts or writing shorts. But a few places I would take note of is Goshae for Sunday Brunch. Magic City Mondays because my friends like to turn up. My oldest daughter is an erotic poet so i enjoy going out to support her especially at Vibrations ATL the city’s hottest erotic open mic night every 1st Thursday.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shoutout to Palmer Williams Jr. He has been a mentor to me. He continues to push me and encourage me. He pushed me to try a comedic role in his play “For The Love Of” If I am ever doubting myself in the industry he gives me the laugh and prayer to carry on.
