We had the good fortune of connecting with Michele Ellis-Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michele, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process to become an entrepreneur came from a strong desire to uplift others, particularly underprivileged women facing difficult challenges, like poverty, gender-based violence, and other circumstances that deny them the opportunity to live happy, healthy, and debt-free (financially comfortable) lives. Having come from a poor background myself and conquered many life barriers, including teenage pregnancy, homelessness, and domestic violence, I wanted to share my knowledge and experiences to help people realize their own strengths, build their self-esteem, and live more fulfilling lives by investing in their own personal development.

Today, I work with women and men from all walks of life and my fulfillment comes from seeing them succeed in opening and running highly successful businesses.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart is my mantra “Serve First and The Money Will Come”! In life and business, my goal is to always create triple WINS. I believe if I create a win for those around me…I will win. There are three ways I strive to win and they are: mentally, physically, emotionally, and or financially. I never participate and or create with money being my motivating factor. Yes, my businesses are “for-profit”, however, I must and will always lead with Serving First!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Wow, Atlanta has so many amazing “hot spots” to visit. With absolutely no doubt, we would have lunch at Publico Atlanta Restaurant. We would walk downtown and participate in the local festivities which I love the culture. Atlanta has something going on every day of the week. We would definitely visit local retail shops and invest in the local economy.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to Shoutout my amazing husband Robert L. Williams Jr. Not only is he my spouse, he’s my best friend, business partner, and confidant. Robert’s ability to bounce back from life’s challenges has made him an extraordinary leader. He has been gifted with the know-how of combining biblical principles with universal laws and coaches others on how to be great. I am fortunate enough to have him guide me through the “obstacles” of life.
