We had the good fortune of connecting with Michaela Magor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michaela, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
For as long as I can remember, creating organized and tidy spaces has been my passion. It started with arranging my dollhouse as a child, and over the years, I’ve continued to transform the homes of family and friends. This isn’t just a hobby for me—it’s a lifelong calling and a source of genuine fulfillment. Some might jokingly call it my “OCD,” but I see it as a personal gift that allows me to help others.

As a mother, I understand the daily challenges of maintaining a clean and orderly home while managing the endless responsibilities that come with modern life. This firsthand experience inspired me to embark on this journey, offering others the peace and order they deserve in their homes. By sharing my passion and expertise, I aim to make a real difference in people’s lives, one organized space at a time.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m pleased to share more about my journey with Michaela Home Organizer LLC (MHO). When I founded MHO, my vision was to create more than just a home organization company—it was about making a real difference in people’s lives. My goal is to transform chaos into harmony and guide my clients toward a sense of tranquility and peace within their homes.

What truly sets MHO apart is our personalized approach. We believe every client deserves a space that resonates with their unique lifestyle, and our dedicated team works closely with them to craft tailored organization solutions that truly impact their day-to-day lives.

One aspect of our work I’m particularly proud of is our commitment to supporting seniors. We understand the unique needs of this age group and strive to create environments that prioritize safety, health, and wellness. For instance, we help keep their spaces clutter-free to avoid potential tripping and falling hazards, a critical aspect of maintaining their independence and overall well-being.

Another area we focus on is managing expired and voided ingredients, as well as expired vitamins and supplements, in their homes. By helping seniors stay on top of these aspects, we support their health and wellness, ensuring they have access to safe, fresh food and other household items.

Whether we’re assisting seniors in their current homes or helping them transition to senior living and downsize their belongings, our approach is centered on creating stress-free living environments. We recognize the emotional journey they often face when letting go of belongings and transitioning to new living arrangements. Our team approaches these moments with compassion, ensuring our clients feel supported and understood during these transitions.

The road to where we are today hasn’t always been smooth, but every challenge has been a chance to learn and grow. My passion for helping others find clarity in their homes has kept me motivated, and the trust our clients place in us has been incredibly rewarding.

In essence, Michaela Home Organizer is all about transforming lives through thoughtful organization. We’re here to provide clients with the space and peace they deserve, allowing them to thrive in their environments.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When my best friend came to visit the Atlanta metro area for a week, I wanted to give them an unforgettable experience. We kicked things off with breakfast at First Watch in Johns Creek, then explored the trails and history at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve. That evening, we dined and shopped at The Avalon in Alpharetta.

The next day, we strolled through Downtown Alpharetta, enjoying the charming shops and art galleries. We grabbed dinner at Salt Factory Pub, then attended a live show at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre.

For a full day in Atlanta, we started with breakfast at West Egg Cafe and visited the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola. Dinner at Ponce City Market, followed by a trip to Skyline Park, gave us stunning views of the city.

We spent a peaceful morning at the Chattahoochee Nature Center and relaxed with lunch at Greenwood’s on Green Street. That evening, we enjoyed craft beer at Tap & Six in Johns Creek.

A day of sports and entertainment took us to The Avalon for some shopping and coffee. We caught a Braves game at Truist Park and dined at The Battery Atlanta.

For some art and culture, we visited the High Museum of Art and enjoyed a walk through Piedmont Park. Dinner at Krog Street Market wrapped up the day perfectly.

Our last day was about savoring the moments left. Breakfast at The Daily and a peaceful afternoon at Big Creek Greenway helped us relax. We ended the trip with a farewell dinner at Made Kitchen & Cocktails in Alpharetta.

The week was full of incredible food, scenic walks, and memorable experiences that my friend and I will cherish for a long time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people and experiences that have shaped my journey, and I’m grateful for each of them. My husband, in particular, has been a constant source of support and encouragement. When we moved to the United States for his work, he believed in me and encouraged me to follow my passions. His belief in my abilities and his push for me to be independent truly set the stage for where I am today. I’m grateful to him for helping me see my potential.

For over 20 years, I’ve been on a journey dedicated to making life better for people. I’ve always been drawn to roles that have a positive impact on individuals. These experiences have shaped my approach to creating organized and peaceful living spaces, and I’m thankful for the lessons I’ve learned along the way.

Finally, I want to recognize my clients for trusting me with their needs. Their stories and unique circumstances have inspired me to do my best, and I’m grateful for the connections we’ve made. It’s the people around me who have made this journey so meaningful and fulfilling.
