We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Bowden and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always dreamed of having something of my own. My dad was an entrepreneur so it was always in my blood.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am an Insurance Agency Owner. I feel like I bring a different energy to my field. I utilize my social media for marketing but it’s mostly indirect. I don’t only talk about insurance, I just live life and try to help people along the way. To get here today was not easy. I tried many things and I feel that those things all attributed to the success I’m having now. Lessons I’ve learned was to be persistent and patient but press on not matter what and your opportunities will find you. I want the world to know that if I did it you can too. You just have to want it bad enough.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love sports so we’d definitely probably catch a sporting event, grab some wings from The Original JR Crickets, probably play some golf and maybe go out to a fun place like Slingshot, Top Golf or Puttshack

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wanna shoutout my Dad.(RIP) I always wanted to make our last name great and carry out his great legacy.
