We had the good fortune of connecting with Meychelle Hart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Meychelle, what is the most important factor behind your success?
If I had to say the most important key factor to my success , It would be consistency, my creativity & PURPOSE. you have to have a purpose, I only move with intentions . Alot of brands try and fail in this generation and it’s because they have no true purpose to them. What did you create it for ya know? How will your brand help others? The purpose of my brand is to create, confident, strong women. I want people to feel the most confident within self.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Honestly, my art has many forms one day I’m a singer/artist . the next a designer the next week I’m doing hair. Honestly, I can really go anywhere with my talent and for that I’m so grateful to be blessed with these hands. CHELLE BRAND is a brand for the risqué the confident the risktakers and statement makers. My brand is curated around a streetwear aesthetic. for the girls it’s giving “sexy streetwear” very much Y2K with a little 90s. Aaliyah and Rihanna are two that are very heavy on the inspo you will see this reflection on the new collections to come. What sets me apart is that I’m a jack of all trades, and I know people who use that term loosely but if you were to meet me in person, you would probably be shocked as to how much I can do. I really want to break into this industry as an all-around stylist. Im currently working on a project, called “the CHELLE experience” it consists of services that offer to anybody who is anybody (celebrity, birthday girl, IT girl/guy) styling from head to toe . so I can offer you a custom outfit and do your hair all in one take. I can even shoot your photos! if you would like to book me for travel or on tours I also am available for that as well . I’m super excited about this new lane that I’m stepping in. it took a long time for me figure out my niche & balance between doing hair/making clothes. My true passion is to be a fashion designer. to become a global fashion icon. I’ve grown a love for hair over time so I decided to merge the two. This journey to where I am today ? hasn’t been an easy one. I will say I have struggled with balance. When I first started doing hair, it took a minute for me to figure out what I was going to do to balance both . Even to the point where all though I was elevating it hindered me. I actually took almost 2 years off of designing. I got scared in that moment, because I never had time to create what I truly wanted to create. My hair schedule took over my life, and I even prayed to God about losing my fire. I didn’t want to lose the desire or the passion to do what I really loved doing. I overcame this problem by thinking outside of the box. being realistic, hair funds my passion, and I had to start thinking bigger. So I’m going big !! The world will know that I’m a star I’m not an ordinary human being, and I’m going to do my best to make an impact with this brand in a positive light. stay tune for the rise of CHELLE BRAND.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
OK, so check this. I am a girl who loves creativity so if I had the opportunity to show my friend a good time, better believe we’re gonna start off at brunch. I definitely am fond of met her at a bar and after that I’m debating either between the beach just because I love a calm vibe or hitting up an art museum I’m really fond of Dover Street market I love looking at the collaboration between art and designers. I feel like it’s a great exhibition and you can also shop there as well. Then we probably chill at home because I love watching TV and being in peace and solitude if we decided to go out at night, I’m not really a club type of female, but I definitely probably would love to go get you know dinner and some drinks and maybe go to an event to network or pop out at Soho warehouse I would have to use the plug on that one though cause your girl ain’t that Ballin to have a membership just being real LMAO .
