We had the good fortune of connecting with Mervin Tabit-EL and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mervin, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
Seeing my patrons and customers smile whenever I make drinks or deliver products. Genuine joy because of what I can create will always make me the happiest business owner. The support is amazing and uplifting!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from other businesses is what I am most proud of, I am authentically me. My business allows me to show my personality and people can easily relate to me because I am down to earth. I got to where I am today by working hard and being strategic. I was not going to open a business before being licensed and I was not going to broadcast anything until everything was how I wanted it, I treat my business like my ‘baby’. It has not always been an easy road, but every obstacle made my journey that more exciting and pushed me to ‘go harder’. The world needs to know this is only the beginning and I have so much in store. The heart of my business is customer service, you will always have a great experience with Merv’s, guaranteed.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Favorite spots in Atl: the bar at Hotel Indigo, the Georgia Aquarium, Old Lady Gang, Mary Mac’s, Encore Hookah lounge and more. When I’m in the city I frequent these venues plus a variety of clubs and shopping malls.

For a week long trip, I would do brunch and lunches at my favorite spots, for dinner I would visit a hookah bar or lounge to entertain and eat or a more upscale venue to eat and enjoy wines. Throughout the days, I would visit malls, parks and attend events… Atlanta is a city that has something different to offer everyday!
