We had the good fortune of connecting with Mer’Rae Hardy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mer’Rae, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Body by Hardy main goal for being a fitness advocate is being able to build a genuine connection with others, having a positive impact in their lives by helping people feel beautiful, healthier, more empowered, and even confident. So in the end my clients will no longer say (“I wish I could do that, I use to feel and look better, I want to start but I do not have the time”) and I am aiming to become a positive role model for the younger generation. It starts by getting all my clients started and committed to themselves and their goals. For me, my fitness journey is all about freedom, living a full life, feeling like I have a passion and really taking control of my life instead of accepting societal norms.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Body by Hardy is a program that offers strength training, an action-based accountability group, and promotes healthy lifestyle habits. We also provide easy to follow nutritional plans and tips to transform your mindset. You will completely transform your health and fitness journey and have genuine support from a family who cares! I offer unlimited access to my programs, a nutritional guide with different meal recipes, and superfood supplements. I also provide my clients with one on one coaching and mentoring, and entry into my private wellness community. You will get guided resources to help you improve your mindset and attitude towards what you are capable of! I will help you with my favorite books, podcasts, playlists, self-care, time management routines and so much more. I want all my members to just have fun and not feel stress out about working out. My goal for being a fitness advocate is to build a genuine connection with my clients, having a positive impact in their lives by helping my clients feel beautiful, healthier, more empowered, and even confident. For everyone to gain proper knowledge about nutrition, their specific body type, and how to keep and maintain their desired look. To be able to pass the knowledge down to others.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite places to go in ATLANTA !!

I absolutely enjoy eating. If my best friend was in town for a week visiting, the first event on our agenda would be eating brunch at (Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles).

After that I would follow up our day at Ponce City Market, where we can walk the trail, take an abundance of photos, and play mimi golf and other fun games on the rooftop.

Later in the evening I would love to take my friends shopping to an outlet mall we have two locations here in Georgia so we might go to both.

And to end our day of fun I would opt for dinner at Six Feet under and sit on the Rooftop. Did I mention I love a place with good food and a rooftop.

I also enjoy places like Top Golf, Main Event bowling alley, Sivia’s Lounge, and any parks with a great Nature Trail.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The biggest blessing that has had the greatest impact in my business are my family and friends. They are always showing up and providing support for me. Fun fact, my younger sister and my mom were actually the very first members in my training boot-camp. My friends are always the first ones to comment and share my success stories and workouts and I know if I ever need advice, that they will provide the knowledge with no hesitation. Most importantly, I started this journey with faith in myself and with God’s guidance that I will have great success, so just replaying that thought in my mind daily is what is honestly fueling the energy in my business.

I love you Mom, and my two little sisters, and all my friends who have showed up and supported me everyday.
