Meet MeoAlexis Anderson | Hair stylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with MeoAlexis Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi MeoAlexis, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
I define success as building something that reflects who I am while genuinely serving others. In my hair business, success isn’t just about booked schedules or financial growth those are important, but they’re outcomes. Real success is creating an experience where my clients feel seen, confident, and cared for, and knowing that my work contributes to their self-expression and self-esteem. It’s also about sustainability; having a business that allows me creative freedom, financial stability, and balance, so I’m not burnt out but inspired. To me, success is when passion, purpose, and profit meet, and everyone involved leaves better than they came.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is centered on elevated hair artistry and intentional care. What truly sets me apart is the experience I create—every client is met with precision, consistency, and genuine attention. I’m most proud of the trust I’ve built and the community that’s grown with me through integrity and word of mouth.
Getting here wasn’t easy. I faced seasons of doubt, slow growth, and real lessons around boundaries, pricing, and burnout. I overcame those challenges by staying disciplined, trusting my vision, and continuing to refine my craft even when progress felt quiet. Along the way, I learned that consistency builds confidence, and growth requires patience.
What I want the world to know about my brand is that it’s intentional. It represents beauty rooted in care, excellence without pressure, and a commitment to showing up authentically every time

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting, mornings would start with her at the gym while I enjoy some quiet time, followed by lemon drops and good food as we catch up. Days would be full of shopping, picking up skincare, and doing fun, spontaneous things—like hitting arcades or trying new experiences around the city. Evenings would be for dinner wherever the night takes us—half the time we can’t even decide what we want—and we might invite friends out to chill, have drinks at a lounge, and just enjoy the energy of the city. For me, Atlanta is best experienced slowly—balancing movement, connection, and moments to truly savor together

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a special shoutout to my mom, who first inspired me by witnessing her artistry and dedication to hair at an early age she showed me that this craft is rooted in care, creativity, and confidence. I also want to recognize my mentor, but grown to be. Sister Alexis Gaines, for instilling in me the patience, discipline, and responsibility that come with mastery. Their influence laid the foundation for the stylist and business owner I continue to become
