We had the good fortune of connecting with Melonie Madzel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Melonie, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Our business literally takes the guess work out of building a custom home. You are able to see your custom design choices in real life 3D before you move in. We use virtual glasses to make it even more real.

What should our readers know about your business?
I started as an Interior Designer 21 years ago and built my business from 2012. I worked with builders for about 2.5 years and learned there was a major disconnect with buyers who didn’t have a vision of their choices. My husband worked for Boeing for 7 years and did 3D. We were always looking for ways to combine our skills and so we came up with BuilderViewer. This unique idea sets us apart because we have never seen anything like this. We are so confident ever y custom builder needs this product and we have it set up in a way that it makes perfect sense for them as well as their buyers. It’s literally a win win for everyone involved.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We love Knife, it’s a cool spot with great food and craft cocktails. If you’re ready to party Rum Punch is really fun and hype. High Museum is an amazing place to go to check out some history and on the first Friday of the month they have Jazz. Also you should definitely check out Atlantas Aquarium it’s amazing. During warm weather a stroll down the Beltline is always a welcome adventure but not without checking out Ponce Market where some of the most amazing food options and cocktails are.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband Dan has been an amazing support for the last 25 years, but through the last year of building this business he has been my rock. He has put in relentless hours to make sure it is a success. He’s amazing!
