Meet Melody Williams: Modeling/Branding

We had the good fortune of connecting with Melody Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Melody, how do you think about risk?
At first, I thought a lot about taking risks instead of just doing it….and then one day, I decided to just leap Into my modeling/branding career and it’s flourishing along with still learning and building. I now look at risks like, depending on what you are taking the risk for, if you think it’s going to be beneficial to your career path or you will somewhat succeed in the path, then go for it. Nothing beats a failure but a try.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am currently employed at Georgia State University, facilities management. Coming up on my 5th year, I enjoy interacting with the kids/adults on campus, I stumbled across a dope beginning photographer and let him take a couple of shots of me and we developed a relationship ever since then. Even meeting him, I have met other talented people and we connect on projects from time to time. So on top of me putting in work orders lol…I also get to connect and create with students.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Pin and proper grant st…..it so different than usual bowling it’s a unique bowling alley with dope food&great atmosphere. Suite lounge luckie st so vibrant, great roof top, they throw the best day parties. R.A Sushi peachtree st I’m in love with the rice bowls &sushi here…great portions,great service. Cascade Nature preserve Cascade Rd, such a scenic route, it takes you out of the thought of being in “ATLANTA” lol…waterfalls,hills, trails,rivers, streams, all things nature are here. The Battery Atlanta Cobb County, the new home of the Atlanta Braves, has so many good eateries, events and shopping stores that’s even open when it’s not a game going on. All types of bars and spirits as well. Jeju Spa Gwinnett County, a 24 hr spa,swimming,sauna,healing spa opened all day and night to accomdate you at any hours. I recommend the foot massage,swimming, the jewel saunas and the steam.

Big shout out to my mother,brother, fiancee, my best buddy ever Takema Allen,Danyell&Reginald. They are ALWAYS there and have ALWAYS been there. Me And the homegirls, Deanna and Ebony, Love ya gals😘
