Meet Megan & Natalie: Megan & Natalie Real Estate

We had the good fortune of connecting with Megan & Natalie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Megan & Natalie, how has your pespective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Juggling the work life balance is hard especially since we both have two young children. In our business, we do not have set hours and are always on call. Because there are two of us, it makes it so much easier to juggle between being a mom and taking care of our clients needs. We have learned to work together on our schedules to make sure we both have that quality time with our families as well as time to ourselves. It is so important to take time for yourself in order to succeed. This particular time has been difficult during the pandemic, and we have utilized several outlets to be able to stay connected with our clients, family, and friends (zoom, house party, marco polo).
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Megan got into the business right after the fall of the Housing Market in 2008. She weathered the biggest storm in our generation regarding real estate and came out on the other side. She always wanted a partner who gave the same amount of customer service and had the same level of integrity. After helping her friend Natalie buy and sell a couple of times over the years (Fun fact, Natalie and her husband were Megan’s first clients!) and seeing how detail oriented Natalie was during the process, Megan suggested she join her in the world of real estate. Natalie was a former teacher but had recently decided to stay home with her children. We began working together in 2018, and our business took off without a hitch. The transition to working with a partner was seamless. We pride ourselves in being a full service real estate team that goes above and beyond for our clients. Because there are two of us, we have twice the availability, which our clients really appreciate.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
There are so many great places in the Atlanta area you could spend weeks exploring! We love Skyline Park at Ponce City Market for the great views and it is lots of fun on a nice day. Krog Street Market has great food and a cool atmosphere. Grabbing a drink at the St. Regis is a must when in Buckhead. We would not let a friend visit without showing them around Decatur where Natalie got married and where Megan lived for several years. Suntrust Park is so much fun if you want to see a Braves game, check out a concert at the Roxy, or just bar hop. Avalon in Alpharetta is one of our favorite places to shop. We love to grab a margarita to go from El Felix then browse the stores. Downtown Roswell and Woodstock are a couple of our favorite spots as well. For some outdoor fun, we love going to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens as well as the Chattahoochee Nature Center and checking out different exhibits and taking a stroll on the Beltline. We love how each area has so much to offer!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We owe a lot of our success to our clients who continue to refer us year after year. Their word means more than anybodies because they actually trusted us with their biggest financial decision of their lives. We also couldn’t do this without the support of our families who have to deal with our crazy schedules.
