Hi Mboh, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
After 15yrs of working in the ER. I realized that emergency medicine was essentially disease management. By the time patients arrived to the ED they had already fallen off the wellness wagon. MEDICI was designed to offer a holistic and integrative approach to health and wellness. At MEDICI, We provide healthcare as well as allied health services such as massage, acupuncture, infrared sauna, and IV hydration therapy with vitamins and antioxidants to optimize the overall wellness and health of our patients. Our practice is designed to bridge the gap between traditional care and local emergency rooms with an emphasis on patient-centered care and patient-involved decision-making. We stand ready to provide unparalleled holistic and integrative health solutions to accommodate our diverse patient population from urban professionals to stay-at-home parents and everyone in between.

MEDICI is an industry leader. It was founded to revolutionize the delivery of healthcare and wellness. We understand that no healing tradition has all the answers to disease prevention or health and wellness. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My best friend is lives in Saudi Arabia. If he was to come in for a weekend, we would start the day at Carroll Street Cafe in Cabbagetown. This is literally my second home. The staff and management are excellent. I have been going there since 2002. Its my happy place. Honest, good food. I like their croissants with Jam and butter. Add pork sausage and a virgin Mojito. We would then head over to Manny’s tavern and watch English Premier league games. Its and official Tottenham FC bar and I am a Chelsea Fan but I love the atmosphere. The staff and management are phenomenal. After that I would take him to the High Museum of Art for the afternoon. I am a huge art collector so I am always studying the trends of the market.
For lunch, I would take him to Fogo de Chao, Brazilian restaurant, I am an unapologetic carnivore. The meat selections are scrumptious and the caipirinhas are the best.
In the evening, I would probably take him to a hookah lounge. He loves hookah. Some place like Pasha Atlanta in Miami Circle. Good drinks, people watching and a diverse group of Atlanta professionals.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family and friends has always been m primary motivation and support. Growing up, there was an emphasis on education as an agent of growth and personal achievement. My father is a Fulbright scholar and retired professor. My mother is a philanthropist. so there was always an emphasis on education and giving back to the less fortunate
