We had the good fortune of connecting with Mbele Kongo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mbele, what do you attribute your success to?
Growing up, I always loved trips to different kinds of spiritual and metaphysical shops. It would tweek my interest in studying the arts and paths of enlightenment, traditions, cultures and ancestral veneration. My vision of having my own became a dream, then a passion and then fruition. Oya’s Market { kongoprincess.com for shopping} offers authentic handcrafted products for your spiritual endeavors. Custom made shrine decor and online modules for Mbele University help and teach you to tap into and turn up the magic within you.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Being true to myself has been key on my journey. My upbringing and life experiences exposed me to different countries, religions, people and walks of life. These gifts have made me approachable, relatable, understanding and open minded. As a spiritual advisor, all of this is very important for your clients comfort and trust. I am proud of myself for never giving up, never letting my doubts or fears stop me and definitely not letting anyone else get in my way. Hard work and faith definitely got me where I am today. Was it easy… is it easy??? Heck No! But you appreciate your blessings more when you shed blood sweat and tears for what you want. I’ve spent hours in meditation, years in and out of therapy learning how to balance my spirituality with everyday life, being different, surviving heart ache, loss, relationships etc. Believe me this thing called life,,,, I get it! Its like I say and teach everyday KEEP YOUR HEAD RIGHT AND YOUR ANCESTORS TIGHT ….. nothing else matters without that. I put dedication and sincerity in all of my products, I am more than a psychic medium, priestess and energy healer. I am your mother, your sister, your aunt, your daughter, your cousin or your niece. I am a confidant and support system that you can relay on { with boundaries of course }. I am Mbele Kongo, The Kongo Princess, Owner and Founder of Oya’s Market, Botanica and Metaphysical Shop
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
