We had the good fortune of connecting with Matthew S. Santana, Jr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Matthew S., we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind the Infinite Power Project was to raise awareness for women who have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault. By following a creative process and taking steps to shift their mindset, I hoped to be able to uplift others and help expand their minds. I assist you by creating a vision of the future that you desire and by accompanying you on your transformational journey. My Journey to Tranquility process is a clear path that will take you from where you are to where you want to be in six steps. This will undoubtedly help you with our topic of discussion, Transitional Empowerment Through Healing Affirmations.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Infinite Power Project encountered some difficulties in gaining women’s trust as a man in order for him to open up and heal from the abuse perpetrated by another man.

I didn’t give up; I did everything I could to assist, and as more women resisted and refused to trust me, I thought I had failed until one woman gave it her all and let me assist her as much as I could.
She assists in bringing others on board after hearing about my vision.

The Infinite Power Project began as a book club and has since evolved into a support group for women who have been victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse.

The Infinite Power Project recognizes that our strength is derived not only from the words we stand by but also from the actions of our initiatives.

I had to give it my all because the program and community engagement are central to our strategy.
We make significant investments in assisting in the development of integrated solutions and delivering reliable tools to those who require them the most.

We could overcome our challenges much more efficiently if we worked together, which is why we eventually decided to launch the Breaking the Silence Collection shortly after The Evolution of a Queen: A Woman of Color Book and Interactive Journal was released.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would show her what we both wanted to do when we were kids on a daily basis.

Our interests have shifted dramatically as we’ve grown older.
Stay home is my first thing, however, if we hadn’t left we’d go to museums, climb rock, live shows, open mics, network mixers, and motivational seminars, or a great restaurant.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank everyone who contributed to empowering me, encouraging, and shedding light on my journey. Thanks to everyone who took me as a man to help them heal and learn to forgive. I’m happy I’m part of your trip.

I would like to give Linda Edwards a special shout to make me an excellent and respected young man. And her new book, Unmasking the Pain, was published. It talked a lot and I learned a lot from the book and interactive journal.
