We had the good fortune of connecting with Matthew Dagle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Matthew, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea of my business came to me at the time i was moving from an intern to assistant engineer. Just talking and listening to issues upcoming artist are having an building a model that will benefit them an myself. The was the whole idea of building a one stop shop from recording to video and photos, and radio all under one roof.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is my drive and passion for what I do. I take every session with pride an give it a 100% of my energy and skill, regardless of the client upcoming or big name. I’m most proud of my accomplishments that I achieved, the multipliable gold and platinum records i was part of and the people that I have the privilege to work with. Where I’m at in my career it was not an easy, a lot of long nights early morning. Missing out on holidays and social life but it all paid off in the end. During these years I learned a lot of lessons on the way, how to work with clients and understand how to fulfill theirs needs and keep them as a returning customer. If I had one thing for the world to know about my brand is that we are more then just music, we offer a whole creative space for artist to be their self.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The best places in the city I will have to say will be R Thomas for lunch or a late night snack, their wings are crazy good. Then will hit Edgewood Ave/ Auburn Ave up and listen to some open mics an be around some of the great creative people the city have to offer. For a relaxing day a walk through the bamboo forest in Marietta which is crazy that something like that is in the city, relaxing place and dope place to have a photoshoot.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Alex of OYL Ent, at the time when I was not getting paid for sessions, an working for a studio that was not using for my skills he gave me a chance to come work for his company. An from their we grew together helping each other on the way in this crazy industry.
