We had the good fortune of connecting with Mary Aden and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mary, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Not giving up. I have wanted to give up so many times, but I choose to keep going.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art recently has been investigating locations that are meaningful to my clients. I have been focusing my current collections on maps of places that people hold near and dear to their hearts. I have been painting places where couples first met, their favorite date night spot, where they bought their first house, where they had their first baby, and many more. It is so fun to get to know my clients on a deeper level when talking about the locations that mean the most to them. I am most excited that my clients have a special piece of art that is meaningful to them and that they can pass on to younger generations. I want people to know that I am looking to paint them a one of a kind meaningful piece of art that will remind them daily of their happiest and most fond memories.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom has always been my biggest cheerleader, and no matter what, she has always supported me and my small business, and I am forever grateful for her love and support.
