We had the good fortune of connecting with Marqarius Harris and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marqarius, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
Be there
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m very excited about going from ghostwriting, directing and acting in film and media to producing and editing the whole production myself. A proverbial one man band. Also I am proud that my actions have inspired my sons to take a liking to media and videography as well. It was far from easy and unfortunately I had to take the hard route due to self sabotage. I learned a lot but 1 of the most important things I’ve learned is you have to stay focused and pour into your own cup. Can’t help everybody. My brand is homegrown, family oriented from Atlanta. Many trials and tribulations, but def a story of triumph and learning to overcome regardless of how hard it gets.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m from Zone 6 so first we’d go there to Gutbusters and get us some real good breakfast, then we’d prob travel to Gwinnett to hang wit some fine women for brunch at Dreamz on Plesant Hill Road on the Nawf. Next we’d go hit the Beltline and walk of the food and drinks as well as check out some production studios with Todd Uno or something then we’d end the night in a recording studio with Grammy award winning producers lik Mex Manny and Zaytoven and most likely produce a classic record. This is Atlanta, it’s SO much to do here.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My lord and savior Jesus Christ, my mom and sister and mos definitely my kids.
