Meet Marla Hale | Owner and Creative Director of ROCKIN JEWELS and Co. LLC

We had the good fortune of connecting with Marla Hale and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marla, what is the most important factor behind your success?
My ability and love for being creative. You have to be able to stand out and creativity is my way of standing out and capturing the attention of my perspective audience. You have to be comfortable in being different. That is what will set you apart from others. I have always been confident that my creativity along with hardwork will allow me and my brand to grow and have long term success.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I was introduced to Paparazzi by a sister friend, Kim. We started off discussing the business from me seeing the jewelry she was wearing. She then told me I would be a great consultant in the business. After a couple of months of consideration, we meet and a week later I joined. I have been a consultant for a couple of years now. What I love most about the business, you are a consultant but can create your own business identity (name and brand) while still selling the famous $5 jewelry called Paparazzzi. Paparazzi provides all the tools for you to be successful and I have a wonderful sponsor in Kim. The name of my company is ROCKIN JEWELS and Co. I named it that because when you see a woman dressed with her accessories she feels good and it is like she is moving to her own beat, she is ROCKIN. The word JEWELS stands for Just an Everyday Woman Empowering Life Successfully. That look good, feel good and it will be a GREAT day vibe. I am excited about building a brand that not only makes people feel good everyday when they wear their jewelry they purchased from me, I am also excited about building a team that allows me and my team to Live the Life We Want, with the income to fulfill all our dreams and accomplish our goals. I am still growing in the business and my plan is to use my creativity to grow, build and establish my name and brand as one of the most recognized selling $5 jewelry. The main lesson I have learned is to be consistent and determined and you will see results and growth from your hardwork.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There is so much Atlanta has to offer for anyone visiting our great city. As a native of Metro Atlanta I could name pages of places to go but my favorite and popular spots are Endulge Cupcakes, Breakfast at Barneys, Murphy’s, Two Urban Licks, Eclipse di Luna, Agave and Fresh Treats. If they have a taste for something different Atlanta has an array of restaurants for any taste. For drinks and socializing Ponce City Market or the North Highland and Old Fourth Ward area. Hopefully they are sports fans and can catch a Hawks, Falcons or Atlanta United game. If they have never been to Atlanta a tour of Auburn Avenue, Edgewood and Centennial Park.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to first Shoutout my Mom and Dad who gave me opportunities to explore my interests, which allowed me to learn about myself, my strengths, to build strong and solid leadership skills and to not be afraid to try new things and work hard toward being great at them. Showing me by example how determination, dedication, commitment, sacrifice and hard work pays off. They allowed me to be me which gave me the confidence to be creative, bold and ambitious. Shoutout to my circle of friends who always genuinely and consistently support me knowing once I set my mind on doing something I will do it and work hard to make sure it is successful.
