We had the good fortune of connecting with Marijiah and Anthony Watts and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marijiah and Anthony, how do you think about risk?
Risk are necessary. They are essential to the growth process. Risk have brought failures into our lives that we didn’t know we needed. If we would have never moved away from our comfort zone we would have never experienced the failures that have made us better versions of ourselves.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We are Social Media Content Creators, My wife is a youtuber, singer, writes music, and all around creative. She inspired me to display who I am more in front of the camera which eventually lead to me to creating content. What sets us apart from others is authenticity. We are ourselves regardless of the environment or the crowd. I guess you could say what you see is what you get. We will always be true to who we are, together or individually. We love to have fun, meet new people, and we bring a gravitational energy into the room.

We are excited about the opportunity of different avenues that we could be apart of in the social media world. We are excited about the opportunity of creating positive content that could possibly reach and affect someone’s life. Overall humbled and grateful for the path that God will lead us down.

How did we get to where we are today? We got here by jumping,Taking a risk, Being obedient to God’s voice,Listening to his calling, and Removing distractions. We are just getting started and hoping for a successful journey. Was it easy? No! There were a lot of uncomfortable conversations, a lot of setbacks, failures, and lost friendships. We overcame challenges by listening to God and doing what was best for us.

The lessons we have learned were understanding being uncomfortable is necessary. Knowing we had to go through the storm before we could experience the sunshine on the other side. Understanding that what God has for you is for you. Having mirror moments and taking the time to truly work on ourselves so we could grow individually and as a couple.

We want the world to know that we are who we are. We are very humbled by life experiences. It took work, time, and effort to get to this place of comfortability of where we are now. it took a lot of mirror moments and growth.
We wake up truly wanting to inspire and affect someone’s life in the most positive way possible.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would take them to a couple of our favorite spots. We love fin and feathers, pizza spot,Gritz brunch bar, madhouse and the rooftop on ponce de leon. All are great vibes

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We would like to dedicate our shoutout to God and our families. God has truly taken the wheel of the car that is our lives. Since starting to be more obedient he has been directing our path, ordering our steps and putting us in positions that only he is capable of putting us in. Our families have played a huge role in encouraging us, supporting us, and supplying us with some of the life tools we may need for this journey. We pray that God continues to open new doors and help us keep breaking generational curses.
