Hi Marie, what do you attribute your success to?
An important success factor for my brand has been to have a solid business plan through marketing, posting content ,being present and showing up for yourself. Every business has its highs, lows, and stagnant periods. We must go through trials and errors when trying to run a business and find out what works for us and what doesn’t

My goals of wanting to watch my vision unfold helps me recognize that the sky’s the limit ,which challenges me to have creative mind state and to keep pushing. My passion is evident in my work and the emotions it evokes in others.When you genuinely believe in your mission and yourself, you persist. By learning from setbacks, we lay the bricks for a robust business foundation.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am an event decorator. I provide luxury picnics, proposal staging , table scoping and interior decorating services .

My business is dedicated to uniting loved ones through shared memories and experiences. When I’m home decorating it gives me immense possibilities to be creative while learning about my clients needs to help them feel comfortable in their space .
The interior decor of one’s home can influence our mood and impact how we act and what we feel.
The joy I feel when I bring a smile or even a tear to someone’s face is indescribable.

Embarking on my second business was one of those moments where fear of failure held me back. One day I was driven by dissatisfaction with my job working long hours for a company that didn’t benefit me or gave me purpose . I was at a place where I knew i wanted more in life, so I took the plunge. I registered my LLC and purchased all my supplies and there was no turning back.
The success of my business increased through repeated tasks, meticulous planning, innovating ideas, and many sleepless nights. There were times when I wanted to quit because I wasn’t getting bookings or clients . I felt discouraged but I knew I wasn’t going to give up .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to my incredible partner, Jermaine of XiEleven Media. He’s the driving force behind my business, catalyzing its inception with his persuasive push. His unwavering support, consistent encouragement, and daily motivation have been invaluable. I reminisce about the countless nights he dedicated to brainstorming, ideation, and help planning. He’s been by my side in various capacities – be it as a videographer during park setups, or even as my supportive luggage carrier and salesperson. Leveraging his profound marketing knowledge, Jermaine consistently introduces innovative ideas and actively networks on my behalf, amplifying the reach of my business. I’m deeply grateful for his tireless commitment and passion in elevating my business vision . His selfless service and ambitious mindset inspire me daily.
