We had the good fortune of connecting with Margaret P. Bean and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Margaret P., what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Passion, discipline, consistency, hard work and putting in long hours and pushing myself to the limits with my determination to make things happen. I believe in my self and what I present to the world through my creativity. I believe preparing a powerful message to the masses is key realizing that my audience deserve the best so I put in work.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

What sets me apart is the ability to stay in my own lane and stick to the vision and the purpose that God as provided.

I am most proud of MPB Entertainment, LLC. I set out to establish a solid entertainment company providing opportunities to passionate Actors and Actress to command the stage and take the audience by storm with my powerful writing and their ability to bring my powerful words to life.

I would say how I got here today is being consistent, resilient and never giving up, and believing in myself. No it hasn’t always been easy but very challenging, however; I have read one time “She Believed She Could, so She Did” it has been a daily strive to be better than the last show, the last stage. challenges with cast turn over or stage crew but I overcome and trust the process of God to see me through all things. Many have come and many must leave, that’s right must leave in order to increase my blessings

The lessons I have learned are to always trust God and when the vision is bigger than I can imagine or the expense of it all is bigger than my budget and Peter is tired of getting robbed to pay Paul I just learn to continue to trust God in all things.

I would like the world to know that MPB is here and making a difference and looking forward to greater!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my best friend on a fantastic day in the city and stop at the Skyview Atlanta and ride the Ferris wheel and then go across the street to Fantasy carriages and take a horse and buggy ride around the city. But first I would find a nice restaurant with live music and dance all night. We would visit family, friends and enjoy a long walk in the part and talk about everything and anything and laugh like it’s no body’s business.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
And I shall say God did it …again! He gets all of the Shout Out’s for blessing me with purpose!

I am grateful for the love of my family and for their support, My lovely daughters Takisha C. Hill, Miecia C Hill, Darrell Candace Bean & Danielle C. Bean, My awesome grandchildren: Amajah, Semaj, Jahlil, Samir, Asir, Roman Aaris.

My dear cousins who always support: Lawanda Isreal, Timolin Nunn, Lovette Bean. I would be remiss if I forget Michelle Mann my other Mother her support and encouragement over the years she inspires me to keep going.

I would also like to thank Ms. Michelle “Meme” Lovette an amazing young lady who is a multi published author and award winning actress and just an all around inspiration to me. I am very proud of her and all of accomplishments.
