We had the good fortune of connecting with Marchele Kimbrough and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marchele, what principle do you value most?
The first principle that comes to mind is integrity. Having strong ethics while demonstrating honesty and transparency is key. Integrity gains the trust of others, aids in good decision making and is imperative when it comes to success.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I honestly feel like passion sets me apart from others. I am most proud and excited when I pursue my passion and it impacts others positively. I always want my clients to have an experience rather than just a session. It is always my prayer that they feel the most beautiful they’ve ever felt when they come in as well as when they leave and go back out into the world after their enhancement.
Getting to this current place professionally has not been easy as there are obstacles and hardships but I always remember I can get through anything because of who is on my side.
I’ve learned along the way I’m not everyone’s makeup artist and I’m totally ok with that. Perseverance and confidence are key to overcome any of life’s challenges.
I want the world to know this brand is built on the foundation of self-esteem and self-image. I want everyone to know they are worth every single good thing coming their way. Beauty starts inward and exudes outward. It’s about more than just makeup. As long as you are in my presence, you will experience “all the feels”! You were created to make this world better!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Columbus, Georgia is a kinda smaller city but the locally owned spots here NEVER disappoint!!! So for starters, we’d definitely go to Bodega 1205, Dell’s Food, Mabella’s Italian Steakhouse, and Charred Oak Kitchen and Bar just to name a few. Locally owned spots give people the opportunity to really feel the culture of the city and enjoy the people there.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m always thankful and grateful for my family and village, however, I’d like to recognize and shoutout my mentor, Alicia Lyons Cooper. I want to thank her for pushing me forward and helping me to realize my gift. When I am in a place of uncertainty, she always provides guidance that I can hold on to forever and I will forever be grateful for everything she has poured into me concerning makeup artistry, the business aspects, life lessons, and especially her prayers.
