Meet Manami LINGERFELT | Artist & Singer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Manami LINGERFELT and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Manami, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I only could imagine myself being an artist. i mean I could be happy and live my life with what I wanted to do is to make colorful and fun around my world. I believe we need more art in this world to bring ourself happy and shine, laugh to live. expressing inside me through art is the way I feel myself meaning to live, to be able to share myself from what I love and even I feel appreciation from what I create. it is very important for myself to live happy. because I know happiness is contagious. so we must be happy and must share the way to be happy.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
1) I am physically moved with my art. From the moment I pick up my paint brush, I trust my energy and my intuition that moves me to where i need to go with each painting. 2)I feel what sets me apart from other artist is that I truly believe that my art will help make the world a more beautiful place. I am proud of the many murals I have done in various places.
3)Where I am today is a dream that came true. trusting and believing in myself and pushing myself to do the many things I’ve never done before.
4)I never really stop learning new lessons. I have learned that many challenges have a different perspective to proceed and complete the task at hand with my paint brush.
5) I would like the world to know that success is possible through determination and self dedication. to attain what you want in life is a matter of hard work focused on the goal of happiness. My story isn’t over yet but i know there are many more beautiful paintings to come.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The first place that comes to mind would be Marietta Square at Marietta, GA. This place has a gallery called Ahoy, there may be Dragons, that displays my art. This square also has many shops, restaurants, a theater and much more.
