We had the good fortune of connecting with Mae Riley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mae, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
To control every aspect of my business between me and potential business partners, sponsors, and advertisers. I do delegate some responsibilities at times. To help people by hiring them and giving them jobs.

 

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My ability to attract and draw people in and my mentality on life and work set me apart. I am very excited about the future. I got to where I am through hard work, intelligence, and my personality, looks, curves, communication skills, networking, branding, consistency, persistence, collaboration, patience, dedication, friends, family, employers, and having a dream, vision, and end goal. I overcame my obstacles because of my creative workarounds, and can-do attitude. I want the world to know that I always do my very best work. I appreciate the love and support.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Stone Mountain
Georgia Aquarium
Zoo Atlanta
Atlanta Botanical Garden
There are many more places in Atlanta that I have heard of and haven’t visited but plan to that I would enjoy going with my best friend.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank my mom., and late dad for their love, support, and encouragement throughout my entire life, especially during my childhood and early adulthood. And my family, friends, and supporters.
