Meet Madison Rose | Photographer , Actress , Singer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Madison Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Madison, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Engaging in various forms of artistic expression brings me immense joy. Whether it’s dancing, photography, acting, or creating and writing music, the act of bringing something unique into existence resonates with me deeply. The significance lies in crafting something personal that reflects my current mood or emotions. This not only brings me satisfaction but also creates a connection with others who may relate or share similar sentiments.
Immersing myself in performance arts is a source of happiness, providing a platform to express myself and connect with others on a profound level. Additionally, spending time outdoors, particularly skateboarding, has a calming effect, offering relief from stress and daily challenges. Nature becomes a sanctuary where I can recharge and rediscover myself.
Taking a break from the digital realm by disconnecting from social media and electronic devices during these outdoor pursuits is crucial for maintaining balance in my life. The combination of artistic expression and nature allows me to find joy, tranquility, and a sense of authenticity away from the constant buzz of technology.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My photos definitely have their own style. I usually create as I go and add a surreal touch to my photos. What sets me apart from other photographers is definitely my ability to come up with creative and cool concepts for my photos, along with establishing a nice relationship with my clients. I’m very proud of how outgoing I’ve become in pursuing photography and my ability to take chances and try new things.
When I first started doing photography, it was just a hobby, nothing serious. I would go around the city with my cousins and ask random people if they would like their photos taken. This led me to become very social and network with other Atlanta creatives. I’m beyond proud of my ability to connect and network with others and how far I’ve come with this wonderful thing called photography.
Lessons I’ve learned from starting this business are not to always rush things and to be okay with not being perfect. I realized that not all art is perfect, and I think that’s the most important part – creating something that comes from your heart and is meaningful. What I want the world to know about my brand is that anything is possible, no matter your age. You can do anything and should not doubt your abilities. Being only 16 going on 17 and having accomplished and met so many amazing people along the way is very impressive. So, if you want to create something, DO IT! and take risks.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Certainly! Here’s the corrected text:
“Atlanta is a very large city with many festive things to do around the city, but certain places are my favorites to just go hang out and enjoy a nice scenery. If you’re like me and love nature, Piedmont Park is definitely the place to be. They have bikes and scooters you can ride along with many restaurants to try. Along with Piedmont Park, if you’re into art and looking for a place with color, the Atlanta BeltLine is the place to be. I enjoy just walking and trying new restaurants.”

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The creation of “Therosegallery” wouldn’t be what it is today without the unwavering support and investments from my mother. Throughout the journey of establishing my business, she has consistently encouraged me to pursue my passions and has been there for every step. My mother played a pivotal role in teaching me the fundamentals of starting and effectively managing a business.
In addition to my mother, other family members, such as my older cousin Naire, have been instrumental in the success of my venture. Naire, trusting in my abilities, allowed me to capture precious moments like her baby shower photos and became the first subject for my maternity shoot. The trust and support from my family not only boosted my confidence in my craft but also contributed significantly to expanding my clientele.
I am grateful for the encouragement and trust bestowed upon me by my family, which has not only shaped “Therosegallery” but has also fueled my growth as a photographer.
