We had the good fortune of connecting with Mackenzie “Macknificent” Adkins and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mackenzie “Macknificent”, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success would have to be my drive and consistency. Ever since I decided to sing, full time, I have not stopped creating and putting out content. This has pushed me faster and closer to reaching my full potential. In the music industry the more you put into it, the more you get out of it. I have made a vow to myself to go get the life I want, and with that being said, I have to work hard to obtain it. The only way to get more success is to keep going and doing more.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am Macknificent. I came up with my name by merging my nickname, “Mack”, with my favorite adjective, Magnificent. I wanted to be confident and bold with my stage name. Macknificent is and will always be the best most confident version idea.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s seems to be be somewhere fun to go every day of the week in the city! During the week I enjoy small lounges or bars like Gallery 992. On the weekends I prefer larger lounges or clubs like eleven45 or encore hookah lounge.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout my best friend, Breasia Johnson. She works just as hard if not harder than me. She pushes me to keep going when I’m down or tired. She supports me and keeps me motivated! She has her own business as well. We work hard to make each other’s dreams come true.
