We had the good fortune of connecting with M-T Strickland and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi M-T, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Metric Mate is dedicated to creating a profound social impact by enhancing health and wellness in diverse communities. Our innovative fitness technology, anchored by the Training Accountability Partner (T.A.P.) sensor and our comprehensive mobile app, makes fitness accessible and personalized for everyone, from beginners to professional athletes.

One of our core missions is to integrate our technology into educational institutions, supporting physical education programs, STEM education, and Healthcare curriculum integration. By providing detailed reports on student progress, we help educators tailor fitness programs to individual needs, encouraging students to adopt lifelong healthy habits. This not only improves physical health but also fosters discipline, resilience, and a positive attitude towards fitness from a young age.

In the corporate sector, Metric Mate enhances employee wellness programs by enabling companies to offer tailored fitness solutions. This leads to healthier, more productive workplaces, reducing stress and healthcare costs, and promoting a culture of well-being.

We also partner with physical therapists and strength and conditioning coaches to support rehabilitation and performance training. Our technology provides precise data that helps professionals create effective, customized treatment and training plans, contributing to better health outcomes.

Beyond fitness, Metric Mate is actively involved in promoting STEM education, particularly among underrepresented groups. By participating in initiatives and partnerships that bridge the gap in STEM education, we aim to inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders in technology and fitness.

Our commitment to social impact extends to supporting local communities through various outreach programs. We work with community centers and non-profits to provide access to our technology, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their socio-economic background, has the opportunity to improve their health and wellness.

Through these efforts, Metric Mate is not just a fitness technology company; we are a catalyst for positive change, fostering healthier, more inclusive communities, and driving innovation in the fitness industry. Our goal is to empower individuals to take control of their health, inspire educational growth, and promote a culture of wellness that benefits society as a whole.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Metric Mate revolutionizes fitness technology with our AI-driven T.A.P. sensor and software solutions, offering personalized insights and real-time feedback. Our Trainer Portal aggregates user data for trainers and gym owners, enhancing fitness management. Proudly integrated into educational institutions and corporate wellness programs, we faced challenges in market penetration and funding but overcame them through innovation and strategic partnerships.
