We had the good fortune of connecting with Lynn Puzzo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lynn, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I had actually never planned on starting my own business, it just sort of happened organically when I began taking baby pictures for friends in my living room 11 years ago. One thing led to another, and suddenly I had people contacting me to take their baby’s pictures as well. When I moved to Georgia, restarting my business was imperative. After living in South Dakota for 2 years and not doing much photography because I was working a full time 9-5 job, I was exhausted and feeling low. I knew that getting back into photography was what I needed to do. I love spending time with the babies I photograph, I love the finished products I provide my clients, and I love the flexibility that it allows for my mom-life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The majority of my business is newborn portraits, and cake smash portraits. What sets me apart from others is the high quality service and experience I provide each and every one of my clients with – from the time they inquire about my services until the time their products are in their hands. Everything is provided for and taken care of for them – so all they have to do is show up to their session with their baby. It takes the stress of shopping and planning out of the equation for them, and they really enjoy that. I also provide my clients with the option to purchase gorgeous, heirloom quality printed products – there’s no guarantee that their digital images will be able to be viewed on computers or the media they are saved to in 10 or 20 years – but they will always be able to sit down with their albums and flip through the pages and relive those memories that we captured of their baby. In the digital age we live in, it is definitely a challenge at times for people to see the value in the tangible memories – but it does get easier every day! I offer a luxury, high quality experience and product to my clients. I believe in quality over quantity, and that you get what you pay for. I go above and beyond for all of my clients, and the memories I capture for them are literally priceless. No one ever regrets investing in their memories.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I just moved to Georgia last year, so Im not really familiar with many places here still!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to give a shoutout to my family – for their endless love, support and encouragement – I definitely wouldn’t be able to do this without them!
