Meet Lyniece Wilkes | Media Outlet

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lyniece Wilkes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lyniece, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I knew I wanted to be in the entertainment industry but didn’t know in what way. So I thought I should go to school and learn about the business. In 2019 I went to SAE INSTITUTE for audio engineering and production and learned that trade and was able to start from there.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The thing that I’m most proud about is my drive. Because no matter what I feel or what I have going on I get up and go!
How I got to where I’m at today is through my team. If you know me then you know I’m really big on team . When you have a group of people that all have the same dreams, you are bond to make it. So I would have to say surround yourself around like minded people and you will go far.
Nothing in life comes easy but if you enjoy what you do, work is never really work at all . I have had my up and downs but I wouldn’t trade it in for nothing in the world because it created the person I am today..
The lesson I’ve learned in this business in be consistent and watch your own plate. Consistency is very important because it shows others what it takes to make things happen. It also show great work and dedication. And watching your own plate means don’t worry about who’s doing what focus on you and you alone. That will separate you from others.
What the world should know about my brand is:
Wutz Real is a podcast that sits down with some of the realest people on the planet tune in each week to see who we talk to next. / Wut’z Real isn’t just a podcast it’s a lifestyle.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them all over Atl because there’s always something to do. Edgewood would be a local attraction. The bars are lit , the people are a vibe and the culture is real.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
