We had the good fortune of connecting with Lu Pizarro and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lu, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Honestly I didn’t put much thought into it. I was laying in a hospital bed fighting and I remember saying to the most high, “If you spare my life, I promise I will use all the talents you’ve given me.” I literally was released 3 days later and I hit the ground running.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am most proud of my brand I’ve created, WWW.LUFITLIFESTYLE.COM . To really pound the pavement and build it from rock bottom. No like loans or financial assistance, just busting my butt and staying the course. I’m so grateful I’m not afraid of challenging myself to always grow. Even when I know it’s not my strong suit, I always want to master that part of me. I’m just so proud of how far I’ve gotten. I’ve faced betrayals, deaths, sickness, heartbreak and people closest to me counting me out. Just to see me use that are esteem and become everything I’ve ever dreamed of. To become everything they felt deep down to the core of them I was incapable of, it’s amazing. I’m currently working on a project called “The Guidance,” because I know people want to know where is it. Lol! My fitness apparel store has amazing items that are great for every size or physique. Extremely supportive for all kinds of workouts but super fashionable for errand runs and happy hour. I am a pretty curvy girl but I have customers who aren’t and it gives optimum support to both. The tummy control is everthing and the designs is giving.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I mean all the rich …. throwing paper now it’s time …… Nah but yes! Lol. I’m really such a square I literally stay home. Parks and gyms for the most part for me and wherever the money reside for that week. 🥴🥴🥴

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God has been my biggest supporter. My BIG BIG homie, who knows me in and out but still hold me down and never switched. My son and daughter that push me beyond what I could ever imagined. They asked me once if we were rich and I told them yes, they believed me so now I actually gotta make that happen. Teaching them not to lie and all. Lol! My mom of course. To my tribe PureVanity Boutique and Nadi Younique, they have been my accountability sisters. And my siblings! All my supporters back home, I love you so much!!!
