We had the good fortune of connecting with LoveJSan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LoveJSan, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I always have seen risk as a opportunity in life. It has a major in my life and through ought my entire career. Risk make life fun! There is either going to be a huge reward on the other side of that door, or a valuable lesson but every risk is always worth it.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Honestly, I most excited of this year. I have so many new songs and music videos planned out and I think it’s going to be the year where my music career reaches a new height. I feel like everything that happened to me last year led up to this moment/year. This whole journey with music has just been one big lesson on finding out who I am and how can I express that to the world. I want people to look up at me on stage and feel connected. I want everyone to know and feel that it’s okay to be different and I am here to show that to the world. That we are truly never alone.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If it’s during the summer I’d probably go to an amusement park 100%. And then do any activities outside. I think my favorite thing to do is sit outside and look at the stars if I’m being honest so lots of that. Feel like always focused on what’s in front of us that we forget to look up.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are a lot of people that deserve credit and they are people I am thankful to have met along this journey. But for sure shout out to my friend and great artist Seth Witcher, as well as to my boy Alo and many others who since Day One have pushed me to reach new heights every time.
